Tasks

To create a registry of patients with hypersomnia; to identify clinical and laboratory phenotypes of hypersomnia and their relationship with genetic and other biomarkers in order to develop algorithms for personalized treatment of hypersomnia; to validate hypersomnia screening questionnaires.

Expected results

Creating a database/registry of patients with hypersomnia after early and thorough diagnosis of diseases with excessive daytime sleepiness, including the differential diagnosis of primary and secondary hypersomnia.
Identifying clinical and laboratory phenotypes of hypersomnia and their relationship with genetic and other biomarkers.
Validating hypersomnia screening questionnaires.
Participation in clinical studies on hypersomnia treatment will contribute to the development of algorithms for personalized hypersomnia treatment including telemedicine.
