WCRC developing a PhD programme in Oncology

The WCRC for Personalized Medicine is currently developing a major professional programme for PhD training in “Clinical Medicine”, Oncology specialty. The programme will include disciplines (modules) that were developed jointly with the members of the Translational Medicine cluster. Highly qualified lecturers and world-class teachers will be involved.

PhD students of Almazov Centre studying in the areas of cardiology, anatomic pathology, neurosurgery, hematology and blood transfusion, cell biology, cytology and histology joined the research teams implementing research projects on the topics included in the Programme for the establishment and development of the WCRC for Personalized Medicine.

PhD students will carry out research using a wide variety of diagnostic and analytical methods, such as chromatographic analysis, mass spectrometry, single-cell whole-genome amplification, gene therapy, modeling of pathological conditions in animals, proteomic and metabolic analysis.

Admission to the PhD programme in Oncology will be open in 2022.
