8-10 December — Congress of Young Scientists 2021 at the Sirius Science and Art Park

The Congress of Young Scientists took place at the Sirius Science and Art Park from 8 to 10 December. The event was held as part of the Year of Science and Technology and was aimed at involving the young generation in scientific projects.

The Congress brought together representatives of leading scientific schools from different regions of Russia, scientific and educational organizations, authorities, industrial partners, outstanding leaders of domestic science, as well as young scientists, winners of grant competitions, students and schoolchildren with notable results. The programme of the Congress featured round tables, sessions and discussions summing up the results of the thematic months of the Year of Science and Technology. Also, educational events were organized in various areas of research.

Representatives of the WCRC for Personalized Medicine Evgeny Shlyakhto, Director General of Almazov Centre and Dmitry Kurapeev, Deputy Director General for Information Technology and Project Management took part as speakers at three Congress sessions: New Medicine, Digital Innovations in Healthcare and AI in Medicine: Clinical Application or Myth?

At the Congress, the WCRC for Personalized Medicine signed two agreements: with MT Consortium on the development of Smart Clinic technologies and with Ekologiya Komforta on the technologies for healthy longevity.
